Fashionate (“Fashionate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools to manage wardrobe items, outfits, trips, events, and related planning features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what choices you have when you use the Fashionate app and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address and account identifiers used to authenticate you and manage your account.
- Profile information: information you choose to add, such as gender, shirt size, pant size, shoe size, style preferences, and profile photo.
- User content: wardrobe items, outfits, trip details, event details, notes, uploaded photos, saved items, and other content you create or upload in the app.
- Purchase and subscription information: subscription status and related purchase information received through Google Play and our subscription management provider.
- Device, diagnostics, and crash information: app logs, crash reports, and related technical data used to maintain reliability, performance, and security.
2. How we use information
- create and manage user accounts
- authenticate users and support password reset
- provide core wardrobe, outfit, trips, events, and profile features
- store and sync user content across devices
- process and validate subscription status
- provide premium or AI-assisted features where applicable
- improve app stability, performance, and security
- respond to support requests and account deletion requests
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate Fashionate and deliver requested features. This may include sharing information with:
- cloud infrastructure and backend service providers that support authentication, database hosting, and file storage
- crash reporting and diagnostics providers to help us identify and fix app issues
- billing and subscription providers, including Google Play and our subscription management provider, to validate and manage purchases
- AI processing providers, where applicable, to generate results requested by you
- legal or safety-related recipients when required by law
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
4. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes such as security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete the account and associated user data, except where retention is required or permitted for legitimate reasons such as accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or limited operational and security logging.
5. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your Fashionate account and associated data from inside the app using the Delete account option, or by visiting our Delete Account page.
You may be asked to confirm ownership of the account before deletion is completed. If you have an active subscription, you may also need to cancel it through Google Play to prevent future billing.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with providers and systems intended to protect data in transit and at rest where supported.
7. Children’s privacy
Fashionate is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and address the issue.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
